NDIS referrals
Information for support coordinators, plan managers and participants.
Registration
Roam Orthotics is an unregistered NDIS provider. We currently support plan-managed and self-managed participants. Agency-managed (NDIA-managed) funds can only be used with registered providers.
Supports
Assessment, prescription, fitting and review of custom orthoses, footwear and splinting, funded through the participant’s Assistive Technology or Capacity Building budgets.
Quotes and reports
After assessment, Rob prepares a quote and supporting report for the participant’s plan. Typical turnaround is around 4 weeks.
Travel
Travel is charged based on distance from our base, capped at 30 minutes of travel time and $50 of non-labour travel costs per visit. We confirm any travel charge with you before your appointment.
